I have a set given to me but i have no idea how to tell who they are for.
The only difference is the flex of the shaft, look on the shaft and it will tell you if it is ladies or mens.

My sister is looking at buying a new ladies golf bag. She wants a good bag, but fairly cheap. Do you know anything about some good chic golf bags. Thanks
First, I must say, that golf is a sport in which equipment is what you pay for. So, cheap might seem appealing, but the equipment might not last long at all. I have found that Nike has made great bags, but can break the 100$ marker, very easily.
There are two types of bags, one being for a cart, and the other for carrying, which comes with a stand. It would be a very good idea to find out which one she would be using, and if you can’t, you would probably want to go with a carrying bag with a stand.
The ladies bag i know of that is good and sturdy, which will last long is the Nike Extreme sport bag. The cleveland bloom bag is good as well.
If you know she uses a cart a lot and wants a cart bag, the taylor made san marino bag is very good. Usuallu the brands like Ogio or RJ sports have many discounts, as well as callaway.
You can find good bargains just go to good stores, not big name stores that jack up prices. Try golfmart.

Also is it against any rules to play a ladies ball? Me being a man of course.
No- it’s the low compression that makes companies call them "lady" golf balls, but really, anyone with a slow swing speed would benefit. Some companies like to refer to them as "Laddie"- lady balls targeted towards men.
There’s nothing in the rules that says you can’t play a "lady" ball. Just like there’s nothing wrong with having L or A (senior) flex shafts in your clubs if that’s what is necessary to optimize your game.

I recently got my daughter, who’s a 5′5 Freshmen in high school, Slazenger golf clubs. Is that a good beginner set?

They are ladies clubs- I got them from Dick’s Sporting Goods For $275
Difficult question to answer in this form. Not enough info to answer question. I’m not familiar with that particular brand of golf clubs, though I know they are a name in the golf industry. Not knowing where you purchased the clubs is a question would help for your answer. And, of course, are these women’s golf clubs?? So, suggest you go back to your origin of sale, if it was a golf course, or golf store. Really, you should have gotten this information at time of purchase. Best way would be to visit a local golf professional at one of your local golf courses. They can help you find out if these golf clubs fit your daughter or not.
Golf is tough enough to play even with the best fitting clubs.

Can a 5ft 5 female use steel shafted mens golf clubs?
Ok ladies clubs are shorter does that mean i wont be able to play with mens?
Ok…..Standard ladies clubs are lighter, Shorter, generally different shafts and different lofts than mens clubs…..Does that mean you can’t hit mens clubs….not necessarily……Try em …if you hit em good…… good on you…if not try the ladies clubs and see if they fit your swing better….thats what I would do
